Against the background of the events in the Bryansk region, the State Border Committee of Belarus told RIA Novosti that the border with Ukraine is under close control.
– There are enough forces and means to ensure security. Border protection throughout the entire section of the state border is carried out in an enhanced mode, the ministry said.
From the village of Lubechane to the border with Belarus is less than 60 kilometers along the road.
