Tajikistan hosts a forum of Tajik and Russian business circles

Today, on March 2, the National Library of Tajikistan hosted the IX conference on interregional cooperation “Business and investment partnership between Russia and Tajikistan”.

In the first half of the day, thematic panel sessions will be held in such areas as industry, energy, tourism, transport, education and others. 

Bilateral meetings of entrepreneurs of the two countries are also held in the B2B (businessman with a businessman) and B2G (businessman with a government official) formats. 

According to the entrepreneurs themselves – forum participants, Tajik business offers the creation of joint ventures with Russia in such areas as hydrometallurgy, processing of rare metals, mining and processing of mining products, production of buses, trailers for cars and repair services, trade (import of wheat and oil products ) and construction, production of furniture products, plastic products and fittings, consumer goods, etc.

Among the companies wishing to develop cooperation with Russian partners are Tamokhush, Adrasman GOK, a plant for rare metals in Khujand, Rokhi Somon, Sadaf, Nuri Khovar, Zinat, Poyafzoli Khuchand, Niku Khujand”, “Vigano”, Khujand cannery and others.

In the afternoon, the main event will take place – a plenary session, where Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will speak.

The event, according to the State Committee for Investment of Tajikistan, is attended by representatives of more than 800 companies from both countries.

Tomorrow, an exchange of contacts will be held for representatives of the business circles of the two countries.
